Update on My WAHM Life

So I've finally had some WAHM gigs come my way lately. For one, that translation and voice recording thing has turned out to be a recurring thing, albeit sporadic. I've had some irritating things happen to me though. A post I'd made for this other paid blogging site was not approved for reasons that are not valid. They kept on pestering me to edit the post to include a certain requirement, which I had already met in the first place. Anyway, we emailed back and forth a few times. I don't think they could keep track of our exchange though since it started over a couple of times until I just gave up on them. I've also received a couple of requests from somebody I used to get transcription work from, but I got no follow-through from her. This was really annoying because it was she who contacted me first and I'd always had the courtesy to reply, even providing translation sample in one case. Now, she's not like an official representative from a company, from whom I'd still have expected a reply except it would have been more understandable not to hear from somebody like that again since it would not have been all personal. This girl however has been more like a friend although we've never met (she's in another country), but we've chatted and we're in each other's friends' lists in your token social networking sites. You'd think she'd be more considerate. Oh well, let's see if she ever contacts me again for another favor. If she does, then she's probably just really scatty or thick. Anyway, I'm just venting.
